About Us
History
We are a small family farm located in Cookeville, Tennessee. This farm has been passed down through many generations. The original settlers were Hyrum Brown and his wife Mary Allison. It has been told that they settled around the year 1780, however there is no hard proof due to the lack of documentation at the time. The last owner Lola Belle (Brown) McCormick registered the farm with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on November 2, 1950
What We Do On the Farm
We run a small herd of beef cattle, a pet longhorn cow, 4 little goats, and 4 sweet puppies that think they run the world. We have a deep love for agriculture that runs through our family history.
The Shop
What originally started as the family cabinet shop has now partially became the craft shop. We still do all of our wood working and building there. However, this is where we do all of our sewing, embroidering, crafting, brainstorming, upcycling, reselling, and collecting.
